2021 HOA Update

Pembrooke Park residents,

We hope that 2021 is treating everyone well.

The HOA wanted to provide an update to the pond situation. The fallen trees and debris has been cleared from the creek channel on the east side of the pond. The cost of the removal and cleanup was paid for by the City at a cost of $3,000. This amount was deducted from our original allotment of $10,000 that was awarded to the HOA in order to shore up and stabilize the pond retention wall. The City administers this fund and controls the usage of the fund.

The HOA is currently accepting bids from contractors to estimate the final cost of completing the repair on the retention wall. The HOA is is trying to acquire further funds from the City to cover the additional expenses. The HOA would like to recognize Jim Jones for his ongoing communication with the City regarding this matter.

The park flood lights have now been upgraded to LED lights. Not only is this a more economical move, this also enhanced the appearance of the front of the neighborhood.

The HOA would also like to sincerely thank David Barnes and his chainsaw for removing the 2 large downed tress at the park as well. David removed the trees at no cost to the HOA.

New Trash/Recyclable Receptacles-

Just a friendly remind that receptacles may be moved to the curb the night before trash day. They must be placed back behind the fence line and out of sight from the front of your house no later than the evening of the pickup.  This is to keep up the appearance of the neighborhood and your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Annual HOA Meeting-

The annual HOA meeting is still pending. The HOA committee is considering safe alternatives to our annual meetings.
